Clarion Associates--Denver, CO & Chapel Hill, NC

Clarion Associates, a land use consulting firm with an exciting national planning and zoning practice, seeks two associate planners with three to six years of relevant experience to work on a variety of interesting projects for public-sector clients around the country.
These positions will support our extensive plan implementation work and will involve both client support and ordinance drafting in areas such as zoning, design, and environmental protection. The associates also will provide support in the firm’s other practice areas, including comprehensive planning, growth management, land use and economic analysis, historic preservation, and urban renewal. One position will be based in Denver, Colorado and the other will be based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Travel may be required.
Urban planning or equivalent degree required. Excellent computer, written, and oral communication skills are essential. Legal drafting experience, a law degree, or a landscape architecture degree, a plus, but not required.
