Service Planning staff for Pace, the suburban bus division of the Regional Transportation
Authority located 25 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. The RTA is the oversight agency in northeastern Illinois for the CTA, Metra commuter rail and Pace suburban bus.
We anticipate we may have some entry level openings in the Service Planning Department at Pace within the next few months. The entry level service planning position entails route design and planning of contract routes as well as Pace-owned and operated service. An on the job training & mentoring program is employed to introduce the new hire to Pace culture, procedures and the service area.
Pace operates 245 fixed routes, 675 vanpools and paratransit service in a service area 3500 square miles. More information about Pace can be obtained by viewing our webpage at www.pacebus.com.
