Clarion Associates--internship

Clarion Associates, a land use consulting firm with a national planning, zoning, and growth management practice, seeks a summer intern to work on a variety of projects for public sector clients throughout the southeast and around the country. This position will support our extensive plan development and plan implementation work and will involve research, preparation of plan documents, and ordinance drafting in areas such as zoning, design, and environmental protection. The intern also may provide support in the firm’s other practice areas, including growth management, impact fees, and affordable housing mitigation. This position is based in the firm’s Chapel Hill, North Carolina office. Travel may be required.

Pursuit of a master’s degree in urban planning or 1-2 years relevant experience required. Excellent computer, written, and oral communication skills are essential.
