Ada County, Idaho Transportation Planner

Applications are now being accepted for the position of Transportation Planner with Pedestrian/Bicycle Emphasis in the Planning/Programming Department. Starting Wage: $18.96 - $21.80/DOQ, plus excellent benefits!

Primary Responsibilities:

The Transportation Planner conducts the District’s planning and programming efforts, including outreach to area agencies and the general public and performs other job related duties as required.

The Transportation Planner, with Pedestrian Bicycle Emphasis, is responsible for the District’s pedestrian and bicycle programs including coordination of Community Programs, Pedestrian Bicycle Transition Plan and Safe Routes to Schools programs. The incumbent will also be responsible for ADA coordination for all non employment related issues ensuring program and project compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

The incumbent will also serve as a technical resource to District employees and other agencies/organizations involved in the various transportation programs.
